Brest Castle was built in the 1830s, and as a result of wars and the passage of time, not many of them remain. It is a Soviet World War II memorial to the devastating battle that resulted when German forces advanced into the Soviet Union, and the city's heroes recorded lines of courage. Today, the castle has become a shrine to the terrible and heroic events that took place there, and includes a large complex of museums, and many memorials with different symbols and meanings, and there is an obelisk with a height of about 100 meters, closely linked to the castle.
