The Museum of Defense of Brest Fortress was opened in 1956 AD, where the amazing reconstruction of the barracks that were bombed during the war and flattened, where 10,000 people were killed, including women and children, and since then the museum has become of great national value to the city of Brest. The monumental monument and huge willow trees add poignant feelings to the tranquil space that is dedicated to walking, meditating and reminiscing about the greatness of the past.
