Kayseri Archeology Museum sheds light on the early ages of Kayseri, which has been home to many civilizations since the Hittites. Thousands of works, especially written tablets from the Assyrian colony of Kanesh-Karum and many other works from the Roman and Byzantine periods, reveal the richness of Kayseri’s history and culture. Archaeological and historical sites in the two halls of the museum and its outer gardens, where there are excavated rocks dating back to the period between 5500-3000 BC.
