Afrasiyab Museum is a museum located in the settlement of Afrasiab, which is considered one of the largest archaeological sites in the world. It dates back to prehistoric times and extends over an area of 220 hectares. It was destroyed by the Mongols in the early thirteenth century after their conquest of Samarkand. This museum displays the history of the settlement and the civilizations that passed through it. The museum is divided into five sections, each of which tells the details of one of the historical eras that passed through it. Visitors will find among the museum's exhibits murals, skeletons, statues, pottery and much more.
