Londonderry, also known as "Derry", is a city on the River Foyle in Northern Ireland, and is its second largest, famous for its 17th-century Derry walls with 7 gates, beautiful landscapes mixed with vibrant cultural and historical areas This charming city is filled with action, adventure and a rich literary heritage. Besides, Londonderry is a major component that forms the cultural hub of Northern Ireland, and the city was celebrated in 2013 as the first city of culture in the UK. Londonderry may not be as famous as Belfast or the Giants’ Bridge, but it is definitely not to be missed when going Northern Ireland, although smaller than the capital, is rich in history and culture and has a lot of charm.
