The walls of Derry have origins dating back to the seventeenth century AD and more than 400 years old. They are unique with their 7 gates and 24 restored cannons. It also embraces the city center with a circumference of up to 1.5 kilometres, in addition to providing stunning views of the city and the distant horizon and allows visitors to stroll under the bright lights at night.
