Ostrava Zoo, is a park established in 1951 as a nature reserve and animal shelter, and in 1996 it became a zoo and joined the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The park contains a large and varied number of animal species, such as lions, tigers, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and many aquatic domestic and predatory animals of different sizes.
