One of the many historical monuments that you can visit and see in the Ulus district of Ankara, the Zingirli Mosque, whose construction dates back to the mid-17th century, can be considered the mosque built by the Shah of Islam Muhammad Emin (Şeyhülislam Mehmet Emin). The mosque is distinguished by its distinctive architectural design, in which Ankara stone was used. There is a two-storey school in the courtyard of the mosque, to provide religious teachings and centers for memorizing the Holy Quran.
