Information about Column of Julianus
Julian's Column is located in the Ulus area in the Altindag region and is also called the Minaret of Bilqis. It was built in its current location in honor of the Roman Emperor's visit to Ankara. It is estimated that it was built in 362 AD. There are no inscriptions on this 15-meter-high building. In 2001, the Ankara Governor's Office restored and protected this work to keep it fresh in the minds.
