The Yesemek Open Air Museum is an archaeological site in Gaziantep Province. It was a quarry in the Hittite period. It occupies an area of 100,000 square meters, making it the largest known stone workshop from the ancient Near East. This museum houses a collection of ancient statues such as the Sphinx, Gate Lions and Seated Lions. The winged lions, the mountain deity, the reliefs representing the Amanos Mountains, the reliefs of war scenes, the architectural pieces in their natural environment and many other monuments worth exploring.
