Three of the world's best-preserved Viking ships, the Oseberg, Gokstad and Tune, are on display in this elegant purpose-built museum. These ships were discovered in Norway between 1867 and 1903, and they were buried for a thousand years. And when it was recovered, it revealed fascinating details about life and death in the Viking community. It is truly a unique and wonderful museum and a visit is highly recommended.
