This open-air museum since 1894 houses a large collection of authentic historic wooden houses from all over Norway. The buildings have been carefully restored and moved to the museum over the past century, most of which are open to tourists for exploration. It also includes one of the oldest buildings, a church from the thirteenth century AD, while there is a large residential complex that shows you typical apartments in Oslo during the last century until 2002 AD. This is a fun museum for the whole family.
