This underground street, Miguel Hidalgo Street in Guanajuato, runs beneath the historic center of the city, and is considered a unique street for its architectural features and levels on which Guanajuato was built over more than four centuries. Half a century ago, most city cars roamed this street, but in the past the waters of the valley flowed where the first urban settlements were built, and in 1963 AD, the city began an ambitious project by constructing a basic road, to turn it into the amazing Miguel Hidalgo subway street.
