Trinity Monastery is a former Orthodox monastery. The monastery was built in the eleventh century AD by Saint Anthony of Pechersk, but the monastery was abandoned since 1239 after the Mongol invasion of the city. What remained of the monastery were only traces of a small church dating back to that time period, then an orthodox church was built in the place of the monastery between 1679 and 1695 in the style of Ukrainian Baroque architecture. The church takes on a pear-shaped geometric design from the outside, and the church is characterized by a very beautiful interior design in terms of decorations, intricate geometric shapes, and paintings distributed on the walls.
