It is an archaeological monument of great national importance in Ukraine. It dates back to the late tenth century AD, and is located on a small hill surrounded by large green areas. The black tomb is more than 10 meters high and has a circumference of about 170 meters. Tourists flock to the hill to see the monument and other monuments that surround it. The hill is included with the monument and 34 other archaeological buildings next to them, most of which are churches in the Chernihiv National Park of Historical Architecture, which is called "Old Chernihiv".
