Krasna Square, or as it means "Beautiful Square", is the center of tourist activity in the city of Chernihiv. It is a very lively square that tourists flock to in the city as it includes many prominent monuments, including the ancient Church of St. Paraskevi Pyatnitsi, which is one of the few remaining monuments that survived after the Second World War. The square also includes many shops and markets selling gifts, souvenirs and handicrafts, as well as restaurants and cafes surrounding the square. The square is decorated with a stone water fountain around which many events and concerts are held.
