Poldina Hora is the highest point in the city of Chernihiv, located at an altitude of 35 meters on the banks of the Dinsa River. It is a picturesque natural area that houses a number of ancient buildings dating back to antiquity from the ninth to the eleventh centuries. The area contains the tomb of the Ukrainian writer Mikhailo Kotsyubinsky and the poet Leonid Hlebov, in addition to a monument to an unknown Soviet soldier who died during World War II. Tourists flock to the place to take a walk, enjoy the scenic landscapes, and learn about the ancient monuments in the place.
