Tashkent Zoo was founded in 1924, and it was initially a small zoo and then expanded to reach an area of approximately 23 hectares. In the park, there are more than 349 species of domestic and predatory animals, and among the animals there are giraffes, llamas, lions, crocodiles, monkeys, and others. The park also has a huge aquarium that includes sharks, turtles, eels and many more.
