The Swimming Palace is the oldest swimming pool in Reykjavik. It was first opened as a public bath in 1937, and did not undergo a major renovation until 2017, when a host of new features were added to it. His architect is responsible for many of the city's other finest buildings, including the National Theater of Iceland, the University of Iceland and Reykjavik's most famous Hallgrim Church.
