Information about State Museum of San Marino
The State Museum of San Marino was opened in 1899 in the Vallonian Palace; but since 2001 it has been housed in another old building in the historic center called the Palazzo Bergami Pelozzi, and today, the museum displays nearly 5,000 objects in its rooms, including artworks, antiques, paintings and collectibles that originated in San Marino and are linked to its history. The museum also preserves archaeological finds from the Neolithic period to the early Middle Ages, as well as paintings and sculptures from the 17th century.
