The Sheikh Zayed Palace was built in 1937 on the western side of the Al Ain Oasis, and Sheikh Zayed (Zayed bin Sultan) lived there until 1966, then it was converted into a museum in 1998. It contains the Sheikh Zayed Museum, also known as the "Museum of Al Ain Palace” contains a number of rooms designated for important meetings and gatherings, and many art exhibitions are held in it that specialize in various cultural and national topics.
