The archaeological site of the Senate Palace is of very great importance to the followers of the Christian faith, as it is believed that this archaeological site was the place where one of the first Christian religious conferences and complexes where a number of bishops and clergy met in the first centuries AD. What remains today of the palace is nothing more than a few scattered rock ruins surrounded by some green trees overlooking the lake.
