The Selimiye Foundation Museum is located within the Selimiye Mosque complex and includes in its collection a number of Islamic art pieces decorated with inscriptions, decorations and Arabic calligraphy that were found in the facilities of the Suleymaniye Mosque, other royal mosques and Ottoman buildings scattered throughout the city of Edirne. Tourists can see ornate windows, pieces of stained glass, chandeliers that were used to light mosques, and other collectibles.
