Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum, which houses one of the richest collections of discoveries in Turkey, is the first stop that must be visited before any other archaeological sites in the region. Through a chronology from prehistoric times to the present, among the most interesting works in the museum is the "Man of Urfa" which is considered the oldest statue in the world.
