The decorative mosque was originally built as a church called the Church of the Twelve Prophets, and it was called the “Church of Al-Numb” in the Ottoman period, because the building contained many decorations, and as is evident from the inscription on the altar, the church was converted into a mosque in 1956 and launched It is called the "Ornamental Mosque", and the building is distinguished by its beautiful stonework in its western facade and its corner towers. One of the wonderful aspects of the building is the carved decorations on the outer walls of the half-columns.
