Information about Rockefeller Archaeological Museum
One of the famous archaeological museums in the city of Jerusalem, it houses a large collection of artifacts discovered in excavations carried out in Palestine in the 1920s and 1930s. The museum was first curated by John Elvie, who arranged the pieces displayed in the museum in chronological order from two million years to the eighteenth century. Among the museum's valuable holdings are wooden panels from the eighth century from Al-Aqsa Mosque and marble thresholds dating back to the twelfth century from the tomb church The sacred and many other wonderful and interesting exhibits that are a must-see, especially if you are a fan of history and archeology.
