Zafferano Restaurant, or as its name means "The Saffron Restaurant", is considered one of the most famous and luxurious local restaurants in Padua. It has been at the top of the list of the best Italian restaurants since its opening in 1985 AD. This is due to the diverse group offered by the restaurant of various types of fresh seafood, including; Shrimp with leafy vegetables, fried squid, seafood stew, oysters with spaghetti, grilled fish fillet and many more. The menu is not limited to seafood dishes, but the restaurant also offers some local dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce, fettuccine with mushrooms, and risotto.
