Information about Museum of the History of Physics
The Museum of the History of Physics houses a collection of ancient and time-tested science instruments in a historical setting. The visit to this place is very interesting during the Galileo Festival and there is an explanation by the guides (researchers at the University of Padua) of the story of Giovanni Pollini who presents his collection of tools for research and teaching of "experimental philosophy". This person was the founder of the first physics laboratory in Italy in the eighteenth century and contributed to many intellectual works ranging from architecture to pneumatics.
