Information about Prato della Valle
A huge public square with an area of about 90,000 square meters in the heart of Padua, Italy. It is one of the largest squares in Europe as a whole, surrounded by the green island of Mimia, along with a small water channel. The canal is bordered by two rings of ancient carvings, numbering about 70, and these statues were carved by many artists, some of which were made of Vicenza stone. The square has been used throughout the ages as the seat of the city's national celebrations and festivals, known as "Festivalbar". It is now considered one of the most prominent tourist places in the city, visited by tourists to enjoy the scenic landscapes and live the lively atmosphere in the center of Bauda.
