The origins of the Porto Botanical Garden date back to 1837, and it is a paradise of biodiversity with many different types of plants, greenhouses, lakes, gardens and trees dating back centuries, and an area nowadays of 4.4 hectares in the Campo Alegre area of Porto. Visitors can explore greenhouses that embrace cacti and tropical plants, and try to discover what lies under the waters of the two lakes; Especially the one with water lilies, immerse yourself in the historic garden consisting of three distinct parts.
