Built in the 14th and 16th centuries, it represents the Small Square in Sibiu, also known as the "Little Belt", which is located within the second fortress of the citadel, in the old trading center of the city where merchants made their goods in the artisanal workshops and offered them to buyers. The market is divided into two parts Distinctive, the north side of the place is circular, with buildings of concave shape, as well as the vaulted portal specially those of the Great Square. The southern side is characterized by buildings with semicircular arches supported.
