At the end of the seventeenth century, prominent friars of the Catholic Church, as well as high-ranking Austrian officials, came to form a small Catholic community. Their presence in the city and their free expression of their faith forced the building of this Catholic Church here. Construction began in 1733, and in 1739 it was opened, and today it is a parish house. The church is distinguished by its built style of the Venetian Baroque style, with an interior and exterior design rich in decorative elements.
