This park is the second park that was opened in Bogotá in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the city in 193. The most important monuments are located in the lower part of the park, near the 7th district and near the hills you will find the park theater which mainly offers children's programmes. In addition to other places for children's entertainment, it is preferable to go to them during the day for more safety. It has lots of nature trails, animals and lots of trees where visitors can enjoy the fresh air.
