An ancient palace whose construction dates back to 1071 AD, it was the seat of the Bishops of Trident between the ninth and thirteenth centuries. The restoration of the building in 1676 at the initiative of Sigismondo Alfonso Thun has radically changed the original Roman facade of the building, and many reliefs, paintings and sculptures are added to the building inside and out. It is worth noting that the palace building has housed the famous Diocese Museum since 1963 AD.
