Information about Cattedrale di San Vigilio
Trento Cathedral is the Roman Catholic cathedral in Trento, northern Italy. It is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Trento, and is dedicated to Saint Vigil, the city's patron saint. The church was built on the ruins of an earlier church from the 16th century. The church was the seat of the Bishop of Trent until 1802 AD. The church is characterized by an attractive architecture that draws attention from the inside and the outside, as it was built in the Roman style, as the main facade of the church contains a large window of roses, along with a lucky wheel and a wooden cross at the entrance. The interior of the church is also decorated with a group of frescoes from the 14th century. ,
