Information about Museum Villa Stuck
The Villa Stuck Museum honors the life and work of the painter, architect, engraver, and sculptor Franz von Stuck, known as the "Prince of Painters". One of Germany's most prominent avant-garde artists, Stock was part of the Munich Art Secession (1892) that broke with traditional artistic movements and embarked on progressive, new, and creative paths. Opened in 1992 in the artist's former home, the Stoke Museum is a historic Art Nouveau villa designed by the artist himself that houses many of his amazing artworks.
