Belarus, like any other country, is rich in historical and artistic values. However, time, events and wars are merciless and leave nothing of the important historical values for countries. Therefore, and in order to preserve state property, it was decided in 1989 to open the Museum of Preserved Art Treasures. Here you can see antiques, rare pieces, silver and bronze carvings, many gold pieces and precious stones. Museum exhibitions are presented in 10 halls, the lion's share of the collection is represented by a group of Russian icons dating back to the 16th and 20th centuries.
