Located in the center of the Palafrugell Cork Museum, it is considered a unique institution because of its theme, land and full service, which acquires, preserves, interprets and highlights the curated heritage around the cork world of Catalonia, while landscapes, industry and lifestyles form a common identity. This museum aims to contribute to the social, economic, and cultural life of the community, in addition to providing support for formal and informal education, as well as alternative and creative entertainment. The Cork Museum also occupies a former cork factory, the largest in Spain.
