This museum represents the history and life of Dr. Gregorio Alvarez, who became very famous in Neuquén several years ago. He was an Argentine historian, physician, and writer, who was also the founder of the Argentinean League of Dermatology. He died on October 11, 1986 at the age of 96, and this museum was built in his honor and published his valuable works in the various fields in which he excelled.
