This historical museum was built in 2001 and houses a large collection of traditional objects used in the daily life of the people of Guellala, a village in the Djerba region famous throughout Tunisia for its pottery workshops, of which the museum is filled with exhibits. The museum is located on a small hill above the village and is distinguishable from the white watchtower that tops it and is excellent for watching the sunset.
