Miskan Island is a small uninhabited island located in the Arabian Gulf opposite Kuwait and to the south of Bubiyan Island. It has an area of 750 square meters. Miskan Island is devoid of any vital activity except for a lighthouse run by Ibrahim Bu Rashid, who lived on the island with his family to direct ships sailing in the Gulf at night. . Maskan shares a similar geology to Failaka Island, which is located nearby. It has coarse sand beaches, with coral reefs in the depths of the surrounding waters.
