The Minsk Historical Museum is located in the historical center of the city. The building is an architectural monument of the 19th century, which opened its doors to visitors with the exhibition “The Artist, or as he is called the heroic citizen”, dedicated to the hero of Belarus. Today, the museum houses more than 7,000 artifacts, the basis of which is archaeological excavations of the eleventh and nineteenth centuries, remains of urban life, cameras from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, paintings and graphs, arts and crafts, and a memorial collection of famous people.
