The Catholic Church, St. Hermes Chaldean Church, built in AD 397, is located in the center of ancient Mardin, right in the bazaar, and is one of the city's most important archaeological and religious monuments. Although it is relatively small in size compared to the rest of the churches in the city, it has a beautiful synergy that surrounds you, with paintings and small statues inside, and ornaments and inscriptions adorning the facades and gates, in one of the most beautiful architectural landscapes in the country.
