Qasim Tugmanir Mosque has a long and distinguished history in the city of Mardin. It stands tall as a witness to its history, and this is evident in the building style used in it, and on the inscriptions and decorations that adorned its internal facades and external walls. The mosque extends over a large area divided into internal and external courtyards, where the inner courtyards were used as a religious school where children came to be disciples at the hands of the most famous writers and sheikhs. Today, you can glimpse the mosque from afar with its huge golden dome and its tall, towering minaret with a distinctive design.
