The Church of St. Peter and Paul is one of the most important historical and religious monuments that distinguish the village of Al-Aqoura. This church, which was carved in the rock thousands of years ago and still exists today, is nothing but a historical seal that indicates the nobility of this country, which has been followed by states and ages. The Phoenicians carved and excavated this church to be a distinctive landmark for the burial of their masters and kings, and it actually became a cemetery for them. Today, it is a temple and a monastery in which some religious ceremonies are held.
