Lake Bode has always been a haven for calm and relaxation for residents of the surrounding areas and tourists away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The lake, also known as Lake Mogosha or Lake Zanellore, is located in the Maramures region at an altitude of 731 m and 17 km from Baia Mare, thanks to its natural landscapes. A mixture of green spaces, flowers and forests, the place provides opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreational activities in the lap of nature. The area also contains a recreational sports base, with tennis, handball and basketball courts, as well as walking and mountain biking trails.
