During the Hellenistic period, the rock-cut tombs of the kings of Pontus, who used Amasya as a capital from 3333 BC, were carved into the southern skirts of Mount Harshina by carving limestone rocks. There is a walkway with steps along the way, so it is comfortable for almost anyone and all ages. Lovely old place so be prepared for a long climb up the stairs. There is a cafe in the middle of the road if you want to eat something or eat and enjoy the view. There are many benches to relax and enjoy the scenic views.
