Kocaeli Museum, also known as Kocaeli Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum or Izmit Museum, is a national museum that displays archaeological artifacts and ethnographic items, located in the former railway station of Izmit. In addition to the exhibition halls, there is a meeting room with 130 seats and laboratories, and some of the museum’s holdings are displayed in its indoor halls and others are outdoors in the museum’s courtyard.
