The Imperial Suite, also known as Humayun Palace, was originally built on wooden foundations during the reign of Murad II, but later collapsed due to an earthquake and fire. The building we see today is the palace built during the reign of Sultan Abdul Aziz. The palace served some of the Ottoman sultans and hosted Many statesmen and important personalities, and it consists of two floors in the neoclassical and European Baroque style, and its facade is covered with marble and its ceiling decorations are the work of the French artist Sassoon. The palace building has been used as a historical museum since 1967.
