The Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center was established in 1996 in memory of the Palestinian writer and teacher Khalil Sakakini, to form this museum a new tributary of Palestinian culture through developing visual arts, developing the creative skills of plastic artists, nurturing new talents, and displaying the collection of artistic and musical works as well. In addition to documenting and disseminating the Palestinian narrative through organizing programs that narrate the Palestinian human experience and developing programs that research the components of Palestinian cultural heritage and Palestinian memory.
